Default Another swap meet sighting
Old boy wanted $1300.00 for this one, said it was a confederate sharp shooters rifle. Had a story of it being used to shoot some military person coming out of a courthouse. I talked to the seller for a good hour. Lots of stories...

Cool gun. Is that a proof stamp of some type on the muzzle end of the barrel? Can you post a picture of the side plate?

Those are the only pics I took. We went back by after lunch and he was packed up
