Sig P320 9mm Subcompact vs. Beretta APX Compact 9mm
Guys, I have always had good feedback here, but after buying the Sig P320 Subcompact, it was a pistol that was soft shooting but the curved trigger was alright for flow fire shots but for double taps and controlled pairs I found that the curved trigger was causing shots to get pulled down. About 3" below target. Ever since I switched the trigger shoe to a flat face, my groups with double taps are excellent. With Slow fire, curved trigger was fine but again double taps found it unexceptable.
The Beretta APX sadly is so unappreciated and if only people knew, this gun shoots a lot flatter than the P320, it is better built by leaps and bounds, better ergo, comes with a very flat trigger, although not as crisp as P320 it has a better reset and double taps are much better.

I'm starting to learn that some of Beretta's newer offerings are very much overlooked. The APX and the other (P4?) subcompact are deserving of more attention from me as a serious carry gun. I just need to spend some time with them, but I'm thinking they could be an overlooked secret, as you mention.

I am not a fan of the p320sc little short grip and one of our girls has a earlier P250sc and hated the grip but liked my p320c set up so I ordered a compact small grip module and cut the rail area back so she a has a 3.6" compact now and she loves that combo . Maybe some thing you care to try or lay hands on a m&p 3.6 or 4" compact .
Anyhow there so many great handguns out there . I know I can carry a lw commander or m&p full size or my p320c in a MTAC holster at 3:00 carried high on my side and find my self doing elbow checks to be sure its all still there . Its that comfortable . My little 5-2 wife also wears MTAC with her Kimber ultra 9mm .
I not a fan of several new striker pistols and have shoot a czp10c and the apx . I do like the px4carry but I have several good pistols now ! The most comfortable grip to me is a m&p and with the new 2.0 - 3.6 and 4" compact should fill many conceal carry needs even if find you need an apex trigger and maybe striker block for a smoother and lighter trigger pull .
We all have to find what works best for each of use . I carried a p320c with a small compact grip module in 40 for 4.5 years and a tp40 for 7 before that but hand surgery caused me to go heaier and fatter !

A lot of gun owners if they only knew how sweet the Berretta is this pistol would be more popular than Glocks. Glock has the name and reputation but at the end of the day, when you buy a Glock you have to spend hundreds more to get it to shoot as well as a Walther PPQ, a Beretta APX, a shield 2.0 etc.

Glock pistols have a cult like following, but honestly there are way better pistols out there that are the same price, some are more, some are less. The HK VP9 hands down better than any Glock 9mm out there. The Walther PPQ is also way better than Glock's, for out of the box it needs nothing except maybe a flat face trigger.
The Beretta APX series I am really really impressed with it. Is it more accurate than my P320 Xcarry? NO but for a self defense pistol and drawing from concealment it is supperior to the xcarry which needs a graysguns trigger and a comp spring. the P320 also has more felt recoil then beretta and I believe the APX will last longer

This is a totally absurd claim.

I don't see how that is absurd. There are many glock owners who removed finger grooves, stippled, and replaced triggers. Walther PPQ the only thing it needed was a flat trigger but the stock one was fine. I know there are many Glock owners who are happy with stock trigger and gun as is

Customizing a firearm to suit an individuals personal preference is not the same thing as “have to spend hundreds to get it to shoot as well as” something else.

The people that designed the P320 are incompetent. I would not trust their work or craftsmanship.

I totally agree with this as my P320s, the ones I sent for voluntary upgrade, it looked like they had a highschool kid doing all the milling, it was a terrible job. The P365 was even worse.

As I said, some people are fine with the Glock as is and stock. But almost every Glock I owned, the trigger was horrible and too heavy. I think 5lbs is fine but 6.7lbs is rediculous. The finger grooves also made a thick pistol even more thicker and harder to reach trigger.
A good trigger for a Glock will cost around $140 + $20 for the 4.5 connector. Then to have finger grooves and stipling would probably cost another $300 with shipping to and from place. Why go through all this fuss when you can buy a HK Vp9 and basically have the kind of pistol that a glock shoudl have been

I guess you are not listening. There are people who like the Glock as is stock. But there are still many more who don't like the trigger. If you look at companies like Zev, Overwatch precision, Ghost, Apex, etc.. there are many companies that make aftermarket triggers for Glocks. Why? Because glock triggers are OK meh, they get the job done but not great.
Now if you look at pistols like Wather PPQ? You won't find too many aftermarket companies that make custom triggers why? Because PPQ has a great trigger out of the box, no need to change anything. Apex is the only company that makes a flat face.
Glocks are good guns, I have a Glock30S, but I installed a Overwatch precision flat face and also replaced the connector because the stock triggr was not good
