Default I like them all...

Or I wouldn't have bought them. But I think this may be my favorite rifle. When my H&K Model 91 was stolen in 1985 (returned by the LAPD in 2003) I bought this from a friend just returned from Army service in Germany. He bought it at the PX and brought it home so no import markings. An FAL guy told me it has a match barrel.

About a year after I bought it some outfit had magazines for $1 if you bought 100 of them. I did. Supposed to be used but 3/4 were brand new in wrappers.

Very nce, I have never shot one, but I have always found the FAL very appealing.

I want one every time I see a movie like, "Dark of he Sun."

The author of the book (Wilbur Smith) even described how to clean one. He was obviously familiar with the FN rifle.

Nice rifle. That should be worth some money.

I currently have 4.
1 DSA
2 Imbel receiver Century L1A1
1 Imbel receiver/parts FAL

Once I get a little money together, I'm sending this one to ARS for a Brit look. Best part is, I only have about $300 into it after selling the optic it came with.

I have always loved FAL's. Closest I ever got was a Springfield Armory pre-ban one I sold for a LOT more than I gave for it.

Buddy had a Browning marked import that was/is worth a bunch. ont know if he still has it.
