I always wanted one genuine British hand made side by side. I still believe they set the standards for hand made shotguns!

Got my first real gun on my 15th birthday-an Ithaca M49, a .22 single shot rifle. That same day, I was given my granddaddy's rabbit gun-a Stevens .22/.410 over/under. Two months later, my dad bought me a Zoli Zouave .58 muzzle loader and he and I started shooting in the North-South Skirmish Association.
I decided I needed to put together a battery of hunting/self defense guns and narrowed the list to three firearms-a Winchester M94 in .44 Magnum, a Ruger Super Blackhawk in .44 Magnum and a Savage/Stevens M311 12 gauge.
Well, I never bought a Winchester 94 in any caliber & about three years ago I found a 1960s Fox Model B 12 gauge. I did buy a used Ruger SBH in the '90s, but I cut it to 4 45/8" and converted it to a Bisley grip frame.
I don't have enough time to list all the others that have passed through my hands since my 15th birthday.

I started shooting in a gun club as a jr shooter at 11 yo, dad got me marlin bolt action 22lr, he didn’t understand the special 22 peep sight target rifles we were using. Before that I had a pump pellet pistol with a bent barrel so the wild life was safe. Grandpa had an old pump 22 lr, I have no clue who got it, I really wanted it.

Lots of wants....
Guns I thought were cool when I was a kid:
Lever Action Rifle (have one)
Luger (Can't afford one, but all I want to do is play with the toggle action)
Detective Special (I have a model 36 and 10, so that covers it)
.45 Colt (just never got into single action)
Tommy Gun (I had a great one by Mattel,no real one though, only an AR-15 which is more useful)
I had a 'Man from U.N.C.L.E.' gun that was cool but not as cool as the above. ( I have more than a few cool semi pistols now)

I always waited for the mail order catalogues to come in as a little kid, even before I could read and went straight to the pages with the guns.
About a month ago I finally got the Voere Benteler 55 that I had wanted so much as a little boy.
