Hi.

I have seen a couple of 9mm revolvers for some time and using the search engine I only found a thread in which one of them was mentioned but it is from more than 5 years ago and I did not consider it appropriate to refloat it.

I am looking for information from those who have tried any of these two models of the ALFA brand.

ALFA PROJ 9261 CLASSIC BLUED 9mm 6 inches.
ALFA PROJ 9251C CLASSIC BLUED 9mm 4.5 inches.

In the Czech Republic they make very good weapons and they want to know if they become worthy to take them into account.

I have not tried these two models, but, because I have never been able to find a reasonable K-32, I have had a number of these in .32 SWLong caliber.
Guns are very, very solid. Great accuracy and reliability and a lot of that S&W feel. They are, however, rather tricky to disassemble and I was never able to find any custom grips. A very nice revolver with great workmanship and a good price.

I tried one blue model in 6'' .The owner has had it for more than a year,said he didn't have any problem with it.
And after trying it,I believe him.The thing is solid,well built and accurate.I normally shoot at 20 and 35yds and the tool was as accurate as my S&W,Colt,DW and Rugers at the distance.
If I'd be in for a revolver in 9mm,I think I'd go for it considering the good quality and lower $$$ investment compared to the much beloved Smith!

all I can say:

Model Alfa Proj .357 3" blued steel. Bought this summer.
Great trigger, sturdy frame, fine lockwork, very nice blueing, great sightpicture, fine polished chambers, recessed cylinder. Positve "DA-feeling" too.

Free standing at 25 meters, holding the gun in both hands. Slow fire, single action.

Load:
AA #2, 6.1 grains, FMJ 158 grains.

(I used it for "groove myself in" before sighting in the 657-2.)

For a few days I have been looking for something between 4 and 5 inches by the regulations of the Division.
This one, being 4.5 has a great size and I think it is a very good candidate until I find the S&W that I have in mind.

Today I was still talking about it. A local gunsmith was telling me that ALFA frames are incompatible with wellknown grips.

He told me that there were two brands that did it, ALFA and WEIHRAUCH. Unless theirs or artisanal ones were not worth others.

I've been looking everywhere and got tired.
I have tried to talk to manufacturers, distributors and I have not come close to what I want.
So I'll play it safe.
I am going to acquire a SMITH & WESSON 67.
It's on the Production Division's list, it fires the ammunition I like and I don't think it will give me many complications.
