Wayne Hensley Boot Knife
Wayne, who is a member of the Knifemakers' Guild, made this Alabama Steel boot knife a few years ago. It is one of only four. Wayne declared to me when I bought it "I'm not making any more of these. They're too d***** hard to make." 3" integral blade with Wayne's own leather. I also bought one of two large sub-hilt fighters Wayne made and gave it to my son for his third trip to Afghanistan. Enjoy.

Very nice.
I really like Damascus steel, but the symmetry of the pattern on the blade is kind of blowing my mind.

Reminds me of my little Kershaw "Divers Knife" I've had since the early 80s.
Guess that's a full tang knife

Wayne is a talented knife maker. I only wish I had the sub-hilt to show. It's a monster.

I wonder if he may have any that didn't measure up to the other 4? I'd take one with the pattern a little off!

I'll see if I can get ahold of him to find out. The Chattahoochee Cutlery Club that we both belong to has been very stagnant this year and the members scattered.
I saw his web site for the first time. None like the one I have but he has made more sub-hilt fighters, large and small.
