Default Pleasant surprise

I have been trying to do some early "spring cleaning" and dug a few boxes out from under my bed today. First couple were a really nice find. I forgot I had stuffed them under there.

1. A crate of Romanian light ball 8mm. 2. A box with 900rds of Federal 115gr 9mm and 2400rds of Federal high velocity .22LR

Made my day.

“Ummm wow. Have you ever had a check-up there?”

“Hehe no, but I’ve had a few Romanians!”

Dug a little deeper and found about 300rds of Wolf 154gr SP 7.62x39, 350rds of S&B .303 FMJ in the old blue green boxes, and a 450rd case of Greek HXP .303 on stripper clips. I have indeed been sleeping on a fortune.

I found 6 loose rounds in a drawer and was grateful.

If I found your stash, I’d probably openly weep from joy.

I have a 1K case and a couple battle packs of the really nice Port 7.62x51 as well squirreled away. My FR-8 loves that stuff.

You could probably trade that lot for a farm judging by today’s prices!

Thanks. I was leaning toward "bayonets not included".

Haven't smoked in 30 years. Quit as a Christmas present for Mom. She still tells me it was the best present I ever gave her.

Stripper clips just start getting in the way after a while. I find them all over the house.
