I thought all of the Gun Libraries had been closed. I will also note that whoever sold that collection to Cabela's got taken to the cleaners. I've seen the way Cabela's operates with "used" guns and it's not pretty. I expect those people only got about 25% of the fair market value and Cabela's will mark them up into the stratosphere.
Have a friend who is seeking a 28 gauge O/U and spotted a used Beretta 686 Field in this caliber at Cabela's today. They wanted 1788.00 dollars for that Beretta. BTW before Covid this model was 1599.00 new. So, this used 686 has a forearm that won't unlatch properly, has a hard rack rub on the forearm, a very dull finish, and the forearm probably dates back to the late 80's because it is an American beavertail instead of the Schnabel that has been SOP for the past 20 years. IMO it's worth 1200.00 dollars, NOT nearly 1800.00.
