That looks like a pretty nice 402, I think you would have no problem getting somewhere in the $400-$500 range for it.
Retail price was $68.88 in 1961. Between 1959 and 1971 a total of 41,607 Model 400/402 Palominos were made, with the 402 carbine accounting for over 70% of the total.
I was lucky enough to find both a 400 and 402 Palomino to add to my Mossberg .22 collection.

I would not sell it unless I was eating dirt and my kids needed braces.
Looks like very nice condition.
About the closest thing to them was the Winchester 250,,looks anyway.
I think the Mossberg is classier and has some obscurity to go with it (It's Rare!).
In these times of hyper prices, I'd think at least 300+.
Somewhere inbetw what you can buy a Henry 22 and a used Marlin 39a for.

I've got a Winchester 250 and it does look like a Palomino. I bought the gun in 1964 and it is a low-end .22 rifle. Accurate enough, though.
