I bought one yesterday for my son as a graduation present.

We haven’t shot it yet, but I am thoroughly impressed with the design.

Except for competition models that start at four-figures, nearly all shotguns are stocked too short with too much drop for the average man. I’m 5’9”, barrel chested, wear a 32-33 sleeve and they’re still too short. I hate to think what they’re like for tall, lanky guy.

When I got it home last night and read the manual, I was ecstatic to see the stock is adjustable. I installed the 1/2” spacer and reduced the drop to 50mm, and its about the best-fitting gun I’ve ever handled.

My son is a couple inches taller and similar in build to me. Of course, we have to get it on the pattern board and shoot some clay to know for sure how well it fits.

Looks like the folks at Beretta know a thing or two about shotguns.

Its 2021 and every long gun should have a but pad that takes adjustable spacers similar to the Beretta A300.
