I always wanted a Bren Ten, too much Miami Vice as a kid I guess. I've got the Smith 4506 and Detonics Combat Master but could never score a Bren Ten before they went for crazy prices.

Maybe somebody here can help with mine. There are these Brazilian made single shot shotguns marked variously "CBC 151" or K-mart or S.S. Kresge. Anyway, I once saw a rifle in 30-30 like those. Being young and broke I didn't even look too close. It wasn't expensive, but I don't even know what they're called and can't find one.
Other dream guns like a Thompson,an 1895 in 7.62x54R, a Dan Wesson 7460, 9x25 export Mauser and an older BPS 10ga, but at least I know what to type in to look for those.

+1. I always thought a Bren Ten would have been a nice pistol to have too, not because of any TV show, it just looks the part...

I believe Harrington and Richardson made a rifle like that. I think it was called the "Topper" or something along those lines. Of course, "Topper" was the name of their line of break action single-shot shotguns, but I think they used it for the rifles as well. I remember looking at one in 30/30 some years ago.
There may of course have been others.

Local Deputated Sheriff gets the Bren Fever.
Sends in his money.
Later Gets trip to LA transporting A Prisoner.
Visits Bren. IDs hisself. Shows official Bren Certificate with Production Number.
Gets Idiot Treatment, sees no Guns, No Gun Production, no Gun nothing.
Finally, finally gets his Bren. Without Magazines.
Buys Mags, they cost Big Time.
Finally! Goes out to Range to Qualify so he can carry on duty.
The Slide Splits on the second load!

Rossi and others have made Single Shot Hinge Opening Rifles.
I had one in 223, didn’t take to it.
Traded it for the Beretta 70s.
Now the game has changed - Henry is making the Swing Open Single.
I still got old Sears Single Barrel 20 Ga!

My Off-Brand Grail handguns are:
- Colt Peacemaker .357 ... should've bought it back in early 80's when it was very inexpensive
- Colt Python...any older one would be just fine
- Beretta M9A3
or
-full auto Glock 18...

Another off brand on my list is a Destroyer carbine. I think it'd be fun to tinker with.

There's been a bunch. I had an H&R Handi rifle, but I'd like to find a Brazilian one, just don't know what to look for exactly.

If you really want one, there is one listed in the Rock Island Auction Company’s upcoming December auction.
My fantasy is a USFA Sparrowhawk in 327 Federal magnum.

I wouldn't mind owning one of those fancy shmancey 4" .357 Magnum Korths.
If it had a spare cylinder in 9mm even better.
