Default OGCA

I spent around 3 hours at OGCA yesterday morning, very good crowd when I was there. Lots of gun being bought and sold (I sold three) ...Prices are getting better for guns, but ammo seems to still be pretty high.

I almost picked up a prewar Colt Official Police, nickel with a 4-inch barrel, but condition was not what I wanted for the asking price. I kind of regret it now. You don't run into a lot of nickel prewar OPs with 4-inch barrels.

Wilmington; prior obligations put me there about 2:00. Was very thin crowd. I was looking hard for something to get excited about…but prices were still pretty high. I was rushed, only had little over an hour to spend, and some of my better deals have been those not on tables. Oh well, kept my money for another day.

I had a good show, sold a lot of ammo. Both collector stuff and shooter ammo. Sold a few guns too though not really succeeding at reducing the collection as a I bought a couple different guns that appealed to me. No S&W's this trip, a Colt Police Positive, an FN 1910/22 and a cute little Spanish Colt clone went home with me. Oh well it's not like I'm really trying to own fewer guns..... I just love the shows and was glad to see a decent turnout and people in a buying mood.
