This Ruger MK II was modified by Chief AJ. I have never seen another example of his work on a MK II.

This is the man that shot a small block of wood out of the air. More impressive, he did it 40,059 more times in a row to set a world record.

Chief AJ is better known for his modifications of Ruger 10/22 rifles. He also makes a mean slingshot.

Who made that front sight blade??
I'd like to put that on mine!

That front sight blade is a Millett P/N RS22011 . I have one on my MK II MKM 678 . They haven't made them in a while but I was able to find one on ebay for a reasonable price. I think I paid around $ 20.00 3 or 4 yrs. ago NIB. I purchased two...one to use one as a spare. Keep an eye open for one as they do show up from time to time.

I used to see him at the Indy state fairgrounds gun shows many years ago. Always a favorite with the patrons with a group of people around his display listening to him. A high energy flamboyant character for sure. Nothing bashful about him whatsoever and not afraid to brag a little :D
