I’ve been lusting for a SIG American Match Target for a long, long, time, but could never justify the high price tag, $ 3000-4000, especially when it’s big brother the Stgw 57 can be found under $ 500 here.
I finally decided to indulge. Being confined most of the time due to Covid the last two years (5th wave here in Switzerland), I’ve saved a lot on restaurants, trips, holidays etc..
I put out a WTB ad and received six responses in just a few days. Including a gun shop on the other side of the country which had two, at $ 2390 a piece, which is a really good price. So good that there was no haggling possible, the 2nd cheapest proposal being at $ 3000 exactly. I decided to get both, a buddy of mine jumped on the opportunity to get the second one. They arrived at my LGS, I’ll pick mine up in a couple of days. Came with sling and sight pusher. Bought an additional three mags at $ 87 a piece, which is also cheap.
