I still have it. Since I actually used it to teach with on active duty, It will stay with me until it is dirt nap time.

The interest in combat shotguns just astounds me. On the other hand, I have a 1942 Model 12 trench gun just like the one shown here, and I often see them selling in the $8,000-$10,000 price range, sometimes more. I kinda view it as a part of my retirement fund (and it really is a pretty cool shotgun).

What's the difference between those and the ONG 870 Wingmasters that sold a few years ago?

Those did not have rifle sights and the magazine tube sticks out past the barrel. The USMC Model 870 MK 1 is marked U.S.Property. Also the fact that they were made for the Corps, not the ONG.
