Finally had occasion to re-attach the front sight on my Cimarron .45 ACP Colt SAA clone.

The second try was successful with the Brownell's
Ribbon solder and flux.

Not a perfect job; some heat discoloration of the blue, and the cold blue on the shortened front blade
Doesnt match so well.

The good news....she shoots to point of aim perfectly with 230 grain hardball.

I made this soldering jig from a picture of one on the Brownell's website. Ended up not needing it however.

nice work looks good to me!...I'm all about how they shoot, if they look good,thats fine too
