I already had the TX22 and when I heard that Sig was building a new 22 pistol, the P322, I wanted one. I was really hoping that it would be on the size of the P365 but that wasn't to be. I have put a couple hundred rounds through the TX22 and am satisfied with its function, no failures with either std velocity or hi velocity CCI or Federal Automatch with or without the use of suppressor. I haven't tried the SIG out yet, will do that this weekend.

I won't get in the weeds about the differences between the two but the major items as I see it is that the SIG is hammer fired whereas the Taurus is striker fired. Also, the Sig has ambi controls and the Taurus does not. Sig mag is 20 round, Taurus is 16 round.

I've been watching for a Sig P322 but won't pay the scalpers prices. So far no joy in my area. Having been a long time fan of the Sig pistols I expect to like it a lot when my turn comes.

I had to wait for the Springfield P35 for quite a while before getting one just slightly over list, but I got the first one in at my local gun store.

Thanks so much for the compao pics. They really helped me to see that I should love the Sig. My ONE gripe with the Taurus is that the grip is too large. Had they put interchangeable backstraps on it like a service gun, I'm sure it would be fine. Clearly, the Sig is slimmer and trimmer in this area enough to make all of the difference.

I found one online in New Hampshire and it will hopefully arrive sometime mid-week. I'm looking forward to shooting it and already have a Romeo Zero and a .22 suppressor. Sounds like a brick of hoarded .22lr is at risk!

What's the price difference between the two? Might just be a typo, but all the TX22 hi-cap mags I've seen are 16 round capacity. I've got the TX22 and it's been extremely reliable with everything I've tried in it and it cost less than $300 out the door. That's going to be hard to beat, but being a Sig fan, I'm really interested in your range report.

The price difference in what I paid between the 2 was a hundred. 299 for the Taurus and 399 for the Sig. I'm sure I could've found the Taurus for less but not the way things are going now in the market. For me the difference is worth it, the Sig feels better in my hand plus being a lefty the ambi controls are a plus for me. The mag release is supposedly reversible and as soon as I figure that out I'll be changing it. As for shooting, the Sig is a lot better for me because of the thinner grip. I was only able to put a mag through it and it functioned fine with the CCI standard Velocity using the suppressor. With a hold on the bullseye all my shots printed at 12 o'clock at about 12-14 yards
distance. My preference over the 2 is the Sig.
