Of all the pistols I have owned in shot I must say this is a gem. The balance the quality everything is Hammer forged the slide the barrel comes with a match grade barrel very soft shooting I would put it right up there with the Sig Sauer XG pro Smith & Wesson m&p pro 5.0 in many others. The only thing I regret is this pistol should have came with an armor plate why Springfield decided not to put one on I don't know other than that it's a fantastic pistol especially for those who have short hands

The Precision 5.25” is equipped with an adjustable rear sight to take advantage of the long sight radius for limited division in USPSA. No way to include an optics plate and adjustable sight on the same slide. Springfield Armory makes a 4.5” OSP or a 3.8” compact OSP if you want to run a red dot….
