put a low ball bid on this weeks ago and was surprised to get an email last night to send in my C&R license so it could be shipped!!
Low Serial Number 8xxx, 1919 mfg. date. about 85 percent finish with a sharp and clean bore. Can't wait for it to arrive.

I have carried a 1936 vintage Colt Woodsman across the west for over 40 years. It was the gun I carried when I guided elk and deer hunters. Stunning accuracy, precision machined from steel. No MIM, plastic, or stamped parts. Mine was used to finish off over 25 head of big game and to put a few in the freezer itself. For me it balances perfect. Like pointing a finger. First time I ever shot mine was out of a moving vehicle at a flying raven that was munching down on a newborn calf. First shot dropped him in flight. I knew I had a keeper.

I have one from 1923 however it ain't as pretty as the ones above. It did come with 2 spare magazines. I took these pics at the lgs where I found it, since then I have cleaned it up.

I was surprised to see the "asking" price on these original 2 tone magazines.
