I've never had a ________. Fill in the blank!
I'm sure most here can think of something that they've never had. I'm speaking gun-wise of course! For instance, it occurred to me today that I've never had a belted magnum rifle. I almost did, because years ago I took a 1903 Springfield to a gunsmith in Lewiston, Idaho, to be re-blued and re-chambered to .308 Norma Magnum. He passed away before he even started the work! His poor wife had a heck of a time getting everyone's guns back to them, and after several months, I finally got my rifle back. That was as close as I've been to a belted magnum.
So here goes:
I've never had a belted magnum rifle.

I’ve never owned a K38. I’ve owned a lot of guns and still own many but never owned or shot a K38. One day I’ll find the right one.

A safe queen. All my firearms are shooters. Well I do have a new Mossberg Shockwave sitting by the garage door waiting for it to stop raining long enough to make a trip to the range. But it's more of an ugly step sister, it doesn't really rate "Queen" status.

Browning Hi Power.
I have always been intrigued by the design but I was never a big 9mm fan. When SA revived it recently, it came back on the radar, but I have yet to pull the trigger. Pardon the pun.

Have owned a bunch.
Still do.
But I never had a Luger.
So I go into this Pawn Shop in Indianapolis.
They say, do you want to see an unusual Luger?
You know I do!
It’s a Cartridge Counter.
He’s saving it for Mel Torme.
He’s coming soon, he collects Lugers, and when he sees this,
the Benjamins will appear.

Same here. I actually have a pretty long list. Some seem unlikely at this point, though. I've never had a Colt Python, a Broomhandle Mauser, or a Luger, although I did have an Erma baby Luger years ago, but it wasn't a real Luger. I've never owned a Glock, but at least I'm open to it now, I just haven't been at the right place at the right time. I kinda want the G20.

They are available in .40 S&W, if that would whet your whistle. Awesome pistol in that cartridge. (BHP MkIII)
I've never had a S&W M520. Probably never will.

I want one in 45-120 for nostalgia, but will probably end up with a 45-70 for convenience

I've never had, but I want to, a:-
- H&K P7M8
- CZ 82/83
- Colt Python
Something I never thought I'd own was a S&W Model Pre 27 / 27 with 3.5" barrel. I never really thought I wanted one until I held it in my hand. There was just something magical about it.

I have always been drawn to black powder revolvers with shoulder stocks, but have never bought one. As appealing as they are, I have had BP revolvers cross fire on me before, and it would seem a real issue on a weapon where you instinctively want to place your supporting hand in front of the cylinder.
Otherwise, there are plenty I have not owned yet that appeal to me, but I am working on it...

Well, in the "non gun" field, because I've owned or shot almost everything -
I've never smoked.
I've never imbibed anything alcoholic.
I've never messed with wild women.
I have only one vice.
I lie like hell.

Never had a Union Switch & Signal M1911A1.
It's kind of a grail gun.
If I ever end up with 3 or 4 grand in my pocket with no other things to take care of. I'd get one.

Oh yeah - a cartridge counter Luger - like this?
No way it's mine - belongs to a good friend who has a fabulous collection of rare Lugers. He let me photograph many of them.

I'm glad you mentioned that. I too have always wanted a "Smython" ever since I saw pictures of them in the gun magazines back in the day. I don't think I've ever seen one in the real world.
