Default A fun and USEFUL morning at the range

While digging thru my magazine shelf I in a vain attempt to straighten it up I came across three baggies of Colt 32 magazines. That reminded me that I have not taken my modest (4) collection of these guns out to shoot for well over a year, maybe over two years. I used this as an excuse to sort out the magazines between completely functional, marginal and non-functional. So, I had a good excuse to fire about 150 rounds of .32 auto thru 16 magazines and four pistols. Not a bad morning at the range, and only three of the magazines were marginal or poorly functional. Several of the magazines are new production by U S Armaments and work as well as the OEM magazines.

I love digging through gun parts and finding forgotten items. I am often reminded how good I have it when I dig down into my supplies.

How about pics of the Colts?

Pics, Pics, Pics, needed Brother.

Asking for a friend.

I'm a big fan of the Pocket Hammerless Model M. But my collection is more modest than yours in that I only have two., a 380 from 1924 and a 32 from 1917. Both are great fun at the range and I still carry the 380 from time to time.

Shown below with their slightly beefier pre war cousin.
