Knives Out
After reading some of the posts about everyone's favorite knives (and drooling over the pics!), I decided my clan of cutlery needed some air and oil. Since I had them all out, I took a pic, to share with y'all. Some of these were inherited from my Dad and his brother. The Puma and the worn Buck 102 came from my Uncle. He gave me the newer 102, when we hunted together in WI, about 40 years ago. The 110 was my Dad's. Grandpa gave me the Cub Scout knife.
The stag-scaled folder is a Mikov, from Czechoslovakia, that was smuggled out of the country in 1988.
Enjoy.

Fine collection there! Notice the Puma has different handle material. Wood? Nice to have knives from family members passed down. Started to build a small collection myself. Only one from my youth is a Puma Skinner I held onto from the 60s. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for the kind words.
I posted the Puma in the recent Puma White Hunter thread, a few days ago, and someone else commented about the handle. Yes, it's wood. I inherited it from my Uncle. I don't know when he bought it, but I would guess somewhere between early mid 60's to early 70's.

As a big fan of Buck Knives, I can only approve of this collection of knives.
However, the lack of a Buck 119, 120, and/or 124 is frankly unacceptable. No collection including Buck Knives can ever be considered complete without them, and their absence is painfully apparent among so many of their smaller knives. You've got to have at least one of their larger knives.
Consider yourself enabled.
