At the risk of feeling special and having the gull of posting a Smith & Wesson in this thread, I have to go ahead and post these beauties...
My Grail Gun and Knife: The California Highway Patrol 4006TSW + Buck 639 Fieldmate
One of only around 10,000 guns made, the 4006TSW CHP. Produced by special order of the California Highway Patrol years after the production of the Smith & Wesson 4006 had ceased, complete with an integral rail and bobbed hammer. I wanted one of these guns so badly when they first hit the market as police trade-ins back in 2017, but I missed out and thought it lost to me forever. Fortunately, in early 2019 another wave of these hit the used market, and I was able to grab one for cheap.
While it doesn't really know in the pic, this pistol is not in pristine condition, but frankly I like it better that was, as the the scratches, dings, and holster wear evoke in my mind thoughts what sort of action this retired veteran of the California Highway Patrol must have seen during over a decade of service in Law Enforcement.
I bought a nice walnut grip for it from KSD a year ago, but so far have been unsuccessful in my attempts to hit the grip to the gun because unfortunately the S&W 3rd Gens use a one piece grip that just doesn't go on easily, especially not when the grip is aftermarket, made of rigid wood rather than flexible polymer, and the holes for the retainer pin are undersized.
One of these days I've got to take the time to get it fitted properly, as the pistol would look all the more attractive with the grips on.

I don’t know if my nickel plated. Model 39 and Model 59 are glamorous but they do have a put-your-sunglasses-on level of bling.

Funny. "Glamorous" is in the eyes of the beholder!
Sporterized Yugoslavian 8mm Mauser. Custom wood and furniture, jeweled bolt and bolt handle, either a Shilen or Douglas barrel, I can't even remember anymore, chambered in .35 Whelen, Leupold 3 x 9 scope, Decelerator butt pad.
it's death on feral hogs.
===================================
Then there's always a normal Smith & Wesson with jazzy stocks:
Model 25-5 with elk grips by bgmntman of this Forum:

Meriden Firearms Model 15 pump .22 Factory Deluxe Grade rifle
Probably about 1914 vintage.
The wood is original condition and finish. Nothing done to that.
The metal had been refinished & heavy handed buff then a hot blue job.
Then the rifle never reassembled or perhaps had been taken apart again and left disassembled. Some rust and pitting from poor storage.
It came to me as a box of parts.
Sights were included , that was a big plus. I hoped the rest of the mechanisms parts were there looking at the mass of stuff in a old cardboard box,,,and they were luckily once I got around to trying to assemble it.
I repolished all the metal to square everything up. Lettering recut.
Bore was still near perfect.
I added the engraving and then Slow Rust Blued the project and Faux C/Colored the trigger and breech block as the originals were CCH.
Meriden did offer engraving for the Deluxe grade rifles but the pattern I have seen was nothng like I drew out and cut. I didn't want to copy an orig pattern. Plus I wasn't all that thrilled with what they orig did as far as an engraving pattern on these!
The rifle is signed also.
In the hands of a new owner now. Kind of wish I had kept that one.
Different,,and I like the different ones.
It shoots very nicely, StdVel only of course!.
Likely a very rare .22 pump being a Deluxe grade as well.
But not being a Winchester or Remington they don't bring the attention they should.
O.F. Mossberg bought the rights to this particular rifle in 1920 when the assets of Meriden were sold off after WW1.
Mossberg made the rifle in 3 different model letters (L,K,M ?)under the Mossberg name when he opened shop in the early 20's.
You don't see those early Mossberg rifles around too often either
Some small changes in the Mossbergs from the orig Meriden design.
The orig Meriden rifle design & pat was by the 2 sons of Arthur J Savage (Savage Arms Co)
Kind of a Glamor Gun,,Pretty anyway and certainly Classic in the way it looks.

Here's something completely different that folks will either love or hate...
My brother's Ruger SR1911 NRA Edition -- Featuring all Stainless Steel Construction with a Laser Engraved, Black Nitride finished Slide, Crimson Cerakote Frame, and fitted with Pachmayr Custom Series Emerald Pearl Grips.
It's loud, it's flashy, it's fabulous. Love it or hate it, you have to admit that you've never seen a 1911 quite like it before. It's a truly unique 1911 that would stand out brilliantly amidst a table of your typical 1911s with Blued steel, Parkerized finishes, and Walnut grips.
When I first got this 1911 as a gift for my brother last year, I really didn't much care for the bright red frame, but he picked it out, and it wasn't for me, so I got it. However, it has grown on me in a big way ever since, hence why I learned to appreciate it's somewhat gaudy appearance, and decided that it ought to be embraced rather than covered up, hence the decision was made to get a pair of Emerald grips for him as a Birthday gift with which to further jazz up this pistol.
Personally, the end result has exceeded my expectations, and truly turned this pistol into a work of art. It has broadened my horizons in terms of how a firearm can be dressed up, blinged out, and aesthetically tuned, if only you're willing to step away from conventional finishing, stop taking it/yourself too seriously, really allowing your imagination to run wild and have fun crafting a range gun for purely recreational use.

No other rifle has won as many international rimfire competitions as the Anschutz 54 Match.
The ISSF record that was set with the Hammerli International is also unbroken
Anschutz 1418 with a nicer than average stock
The HK P7/PSP is in a class of its own
SIG P210-4, still looking good for an old surplus gun
The revolver bullseye record was set with a S&W 14 and I believe it is still unbroken
1970s Mauser 29/70 because it is a great shooter
Finally, the Anschutz 1423, rare but very nice.

Pretty nice collection of glamorous guns. I don't have anything just because it's "glamorous" but in the eyes of this beholder a fwe might qualify:
M25-5
Customized M 64 - I really like this one and it's very boring black Cerakote:
Star Model S .380 ACP Ajax custom rosewood grips - VERY accurate:
Ruger "old" Vaqueros:
Customized-sporterized Yugoslavian 8mm Mauser - now .35 Whelen
Model 94 Big Bore - .375 Winchester
I think they're glamorous!

A Winchester Model 61
I restocked and checkered it. Then engraved and inlayed (24k). Finished it up in a brite Rust Blue.
The wood is European Walnut (I think!) maybe Claro, but I think the former. It had a few inclusions in it but they filled in and covered very nicely. Checkering is 20LPI and the pattern is a take-off on the Winchester B-Carve style with some changes to add to it. Checkering goes up and over the top of the grip with bands and checkering.
Engraving is full coverage on the frame & trigger group. Some scroll and gold bands on the bbl muzzle and breech.
The layout of the figures loosly follows Winchesters #8 style engraving pattern but from there the scroll style and the amt of coverage goes far beyond what Winchester offered
Smooth top Model 61. IIRC the rifle was mfg in 51 or 52.
Orig checkered steel butt plate. I always use that style on a model 61 upgrade changing aany that have the later plastic butt plate over to the steel plate if needed.
Screw heads engraved of course and on the forend as well.
Finished it all up,,Oilied it all down carefully and put it in a nice soft case and set it in the corner. That's were it's been since finished.
I did drag it out to show to bring to a GS to show to a couple people but that's it.
Back into the safe it goes.
Time to make another,,or something else. Lots of projects to do.

I just have to throw in a shotgun. This started out as a VH Parker 20ga. I took it from a pistol grip to a straight grip and had it engraved to honor My Little Buddy Gunner. He was a great hunting partner and part of the family. He's missed terribly but he and I along with his gun do chase birds on a regular basis.

GSP Fan, those are some beautiful firearms!
I was wondering if you could chop off some hunks of the stocks and send them to me? I would love to have Culina make me some grips from that fabulous wood!!
Obviously, just kidding........kinda.

Thanks Larry. Actually the extra wood that can be used I give to a friend and he makes knife handles from it.

Put me in the Colt 1903/08 Model M camp as well...
Does it get more "glamorous" than Charlie Chan? Or Mark Twain? Or Dillinger, or Patton, or Bonnie and Clyde, or Eisenhower, or...?
