I recently bought this pistol from a seller on another forum. Today was the first time for shooting it. It is a fantastic gun. The previous owner had it worked over by Cajun Gun Works. Fantastic trigger in SA and DA. Very tight and accurate. I added a S/S guide rod and the G10 grips. I've shot a standard 75B before, and it's a nice gun in its own right, but the CGW conversion takes it to a whole different level. BTW, the grips are from Cool Hand. They fit great, and the checkering has a nice feel without being too aggressive. They are a lot less expensive than the competition, but the quality is there. In the interest of full disclosure, I don't believe they are made in the USA, but then again, neither is the gun.

That is the ČZ I wanted. The first time I saw one under glass, I bought it on the spot. Never regretted it.

I was late to the game with CZ's, but I am trying to catch up.

I have a SAO TS2 and I recently bought a 75 D PCR. The PCR is basically a compact version of your gun. The CGW work is definately top notch.

That will be a wonderful shooter !

Tim

I also have a 97BD (45acp) with the CGW "E" conversion, the 1911 bushing conversion and an LPA sight. It may be one of the most accurate pistols on the planet.

I have a CZ75B that was worked over by CZ Custom in Arizona. It's as good if not better than any of my 1911's, including a J&S Custom STI 2011 that a friend (the builder) used as his submission to become an American Pistol-smith Guild member.

I just bought a used CZ75 Omega, it's gonna get the slide redone to mount a mini red dot. That will become my every day carry gun.

Love the CZs. I have a Tanfoglio (CZ75 clone)10mm, great shooter, super accurate. Been lusting after the Shadow 2, hopefully my next purchase.

I've tried to like the CZ platform but it just doesn't fit my hand. The trigger reach is just too long or the geometry is just off for me.

Congrats. I've been looking for a Police. Here is my 85 Combat tuned by CGW.

I went SAR USA about a year ago because the 2000 is available in stainless. I've owned several CZs over the years, couple of Tanfos and the platform is my favorite for a full size 9 x19mm combat pistol. I knew going in that I would be customizing, and basically, the SAR 2000 is a Tanfoglio clone where for some reason Sarsilmaz paid Tanfo a licensing fee to copy it. Funny because Tanfo never saw fir to compensate CZ because they were behind the iron curtain and unable to protect their patents.
Anyway, custom parts for the Witness work for the 2000. I have the CGW Trigger with O/T stop and their floating trigger pin. Galloway internal springs that replace everything but the sear spring. Wolff recoil springs in several weights, and I had to fit a HiViz tritium fiber-optic made for the CZ 75, but must be filed to fit. I bought but had to return a Sarz fiber-optic front that I don't recommend. Most recently I bought a MecGar mag for the Witness small frame to test and will be buying more. Definitely an improvement over the stock SAR mags, and they have the Anti Friction Coating.
