Default Ruger LCP Max issue

The hammer spring cap came out of my LCP Max. I dont know if the pin broke or what? Are there any videos that show how to replace it? I didnt find any on YouTube.

Both. All that I know is that I inserted a magazine yesterday and noticed that it was missing. I cant remember if I last carried it in a pocket or IWB. I will search pants pockets and the floor around my bed when I get back home.

Two things that I have noticed about the LCP Max; first is that I have to give the magazine a firm tap on the bottom to seat the magazine. Second is that when I rack the slide to chamber a round, I have to tap the slide forward to get it to seat. I dont know if this is normal or not. It could be that in tapping the magazine in, I jarred the pin loose.

I do have a Hyve magazine extension on my primary carry mag. This covers the hammer cap area. But I had the magazine and slide issues prior to the installation of the Hyve magazine extension.

Factory ammo out of spec? The other thing is that in squeezing so many rounds into small guns, I reckon a tolerance stack the wrong way can make operating them in +1 mode a bit tricky.

I always just load the mag to capacity. Never +1.
