Question about colt frontier scout 22 mag cylinder

Not gospel but from what I understand they were the same frame size. so it would be worth a try anyway.

I have a Colt .22 Peacemaker. The 2 main differences between the .22 Peacemaker and Fronteer Scout is an apnodized aluminum frame on the Scout and a steel from on the .22 Peacemaker with a really nice color casehard finish . The .22 Peacemakerframe is also larger if I remember correctly, so it does not look like the cylinders will interchange.

The rimfire New Frontier, Peacemaker and Scout frames are the same. And the cylinders are interchangeable. They may need fitting, for proper function.
Honestly don't know but needs to be clearly described!
I have owned both and since they are long gone from my accumulation I can't measure to be sure, but they honestly look different to me from old pics vs your pic.
My Frontier Scout (1963) was the 22LR cylinder fluted. I never had a 22 WMR cylinder for the Scout.
My Peacemaker (1974) had only the 22 WMR cylinder and was not fluted. It does appear longer in the below pics.
Like suggested go over to the Colt Forum and ask but if you get the same "yes they can", "no they can't" mix of answers then the best you can do is sell it by describing ONLY what you know for fact. ie: "I'm selling a fluted 22 WMR cylinder from a Colt Frontier Scout".
