Cheap 1903A3s
I know everyone loves to talk about the price of guns from yesteryear. Today I found two shipping bills from DCM for two M1903A3s I bought in the early 1960s. Note the price. Both were essentially as-new. I sold both long ago.

I wonder how many folks said "shipping almost half the cost of the gun - no way am I buying!"?

I remember walking into an LGS in my hometown right after payday in the late 60s and finding they had just received two unfired-looking 03-A3s, an SC and a Rem. Bought 'em both - one was $59 and the other was $69. Really regret selling them years later at a nice profit.
