Default Grip ID

Bought 9 Asst pair of Grips ( stocks ) today. They were all suppose to be S&W take offs and 8 were. This is one piece grip with the screw and bushing it butt.
By looking inside I call tell it’s for a square butt type frame. The width of frame cut out is just enough smaller than K frame it would split if you forced it. To long for J frame. Make? Model of gun? is there anyway to tell?

It's a Hogue wood Monogrip. I bet if you contacted them they could tell you how to measure it and determine the fitment. These were predominantly made for K frames however.

Hogue. It still might be for a K frame. If you are unfamiliar with Hogue's, you install by starting with the butt of the gun, and bring the grips up and over the guns grip frame - Kind of counterintuitive to trying to instal from the side like you might a pair of normal grips.
