I am adding a second Korth (imported by Nighthawk) to the revolver stable, want to place the order Friday. Which 357 do you prefer?
While I will not use the accessory rails, the extra 10oz. is nice re recoil and I already have a 357 3 inch mongoose by Korth. I will also have to choose between a 4 inch and a 6 inch barrel.
Particularly interested if you like the smooth barrel, or the railed up vented one.
Some will comment their preference for the looks of the S&W’s. Regardless, the absolutely consistent action, fit, and choices of billet steel by Korth make the experience well beyond my three remaining S&W’s even though each has been to TK Custom for action jobs and represent the best S&W has to offer.
Korth L to R
NXS .357 4” (8 shot)
NXS. 357 6” (8 shot)
Mongoose .357 4” (6 shot)
Mongoose .357 6” (6 shot)
My 3 S&W’s
My current choice is the 4” NXR. While it doesn’t have the clean looks of the Mongoose, it has an 8-shot option not available on the Mongoose.
