Just looking to hear some thoughts on the pistol. Local store had them on super sale $269.00 each I picked a couple up at that price. Read a bunch a reviews so I know the good and bad. Just like to hear from guys on the forum.

I'll be interested to hear what you and other think shooting this gun. Years ago I bought a LC9s because of its contours conceal so well. Unfortunately, the thin backstrap leads to a disturbing sensation under recoil. It probably has a lot to do with my thin, slightly boney hands. I'm wondering if the slightly wider backstrap of the Max 9 would mitigate my issue.
I have no such issues with a Kahr CW9 or a Walther PPS M2.

Wow that is cheap indeed. Heard some pros and cons on this model. Hope you have good luck with yours.

I bought one in Feb. Gun shot excellent and I was really liking it. Then the slide stop spring and take down window spring broke after about 200 rounds. That is a common known issue on the. Called Ruger and sent it in for repair. Turn around was super fast, one week and it was back. I have had no issues with it since. Have about 500 round through it.

I have had mine for a couple years now as my EDC and have had zero issues. Excellent accuracy, very well controlled recoil-wise, eats anything I feed it. You got yours at a great price! I think I bought mine for $420. I would recommend a Max9 to anyone.

We have several of our deputies carrying the Ruger Max 9 off duty or as backup and we've had no problems with them on the range. I've shot several and have no complaints, but have to admit I prefer my Ruger LC9s Pro for deep concealment carry. I'm an admitted Glock fan because of my many years of experience with them but the Ruger LC9s Pro is one of my favorite small 9mm handguns.
