picked up another oddball at LGS , Stainless steel Norinco model 213 . Cant find much info other than imported in the 80s and supposidly only 100 made it to the states . This is the factory 9mm version . Any thoughts ?

I can't help with your question. I own a regular Model 213, and I think it is a fine pistol. Your post is the first I have heard of in a stainless-steel version.

I have a 213 and it's a neat gun. Added a 7.62x25 barrel and mag set up to it. Pretty simple swap out.

I'm curious about the "only 100 made it to the states" - suggests more were made which makes me consider "other than us, who would buy the stainless 213?".

Is there a way to ID it as stainless for sure?

A local shop had one that was purported to be stainless a few years back. Around $200’IIRC.

I bought one about ten years ago for a whopping two hundred bucks.

I wanted something with a lanyard loop for working on the tractor so I would not lose it.

It would be chrome not stainless, if anything different it would be done stateside by the importer. Do you have the box?

Nice, I love how they made those things with no safety.

Not stainless and not even a 213. Some poor NVA officer had to give his life so that I could own his gun. I didn't kill him. One of our Cobras did.

Kind of reminds me of the Colt pocket hammer.

If it was hard chromed Carbon steel any self respecting magnet would stick to it.

Any decent magnet should stick to stainless firearms as well.

I've seen these listed by sellers as stainless before, but I'm thinking they're plated.
