Don’t know why but I’ve been thinking of adding a .32 to my collection.
Was thinking about a stainless Tomcat but I’ve read they are prone to frame cracks.
Anyone have any experience with the NAA Guardian?

Never messed with a Guardian. Dad's wife had a stainless Tomcat, the trigger was like two pieces of 60 grit rubbing against each other,

I have a very early 3032 "Blue" Tomcat. The trigger is the best Berreta handgun trigger I ever felt. At one point I had the Tomcat and a KelTec 32, I liked them both, but I kept the Tomcat because it was a little bit more accurate. Best friend still has the P-32 and loves it.

Dad had 3 of the Colt 1903 32's. Most accurate "point and shoot" guns I've ever seen! from the hip it was hard to miss!

My SD Load for 32 AUTO has always been Winchester STHPs. Never had a FTF or FTE on any 32auto including a WWI Unique! Penetration was good on winter clothing tests, so I didn't mess with FMJ like I use to on 380.

I always get a second mag for my automatics. Midway was/is always on back order, and it took 8 or 9 months, but they came through!

Are you planning to use the .32 as a carry gun, or do you just want to add one to the collection?

The Beretta 81 is bigger than some of the other .32ACPs mentioned here, but tends to be a very easy shooting pistol. They have risen a bit in prices over the past few years, but still are usually a good value.

The Tanfoglion GT32E has some really cool design aspects as well, and can be found reasonably priced.

The Guardian is smaller than either of those pistols though, so could be a better choice for concealed carry.

Shot the NAA once. Meh……. Shot my friends Keltec 32. I couldn’t hit a bus at 20 paces. I have a Tomcat that is very accurate. Very smooth and conceals easily. I put CT laser grips on it and it was my EDC for a few years. The cracking frame thing is greatly exaggerated. Like forcing cones in a K frame 357 or a soft cam in a Chevy 305. I wouldn’t worry about it.

I have a .32 ACP Guardian and highly recommend it. I shoot Euro-spec Fiocchi ball in my and have no issues. Yes- Its dense, but in a good pocket holster, that is not a problem. Also probably not a good choice if you are allergic to full weight DA triggers.

Mainly just an addition to my accumulation. Not saying it won’t be carried occasionally.
I have many other larger caliber to CC if desired.

I have one - if it's just to add to the collection, I'd recommend a Seecamp. A bit more refined .

That said, they're both fine examples of mouse guns.

I had one about 20 years ago and liked it a lot for CC, as far as size an concealability go. Never had any problems with it. Back then, I was in my phase of always changing my mind about what I wanted in a CC gun and foolishly sold it after having it about 18 months. I wish I never got rid of it.

I've seen a couple of Seecamps for sale the past 4-5 months and have been tempted, but chose not to buy.

If I were to take up the 32 it would be for one, single, specific pistol, the Colt 1903. It's a pistol I've always wanted to own and IMO Colt should dust off the drawings for it and put it back into production without changing anything from the original except perhaps to make it pass today's drop safety tests. Because with today's focus on small carry pistols it would be a bit hit. It's slim, compact, easy to shoot well and a wonderful looking pistol.

I have a Walther PP in 32acp. Joy to shoot and has panache.
It is heavy for its size and power I will say, but that contributes to its shootability. But it is very accurate, especially for the basic sights.

I have a .32 acp Guardian. I've had it around 20 years. I like it. A little heavy, but not too heavy. It has always worked when I wanted it to. It is easy to work on. Its manual of arms is simple and straight forward. I have yet to find ammo it will not shoot.

I got rid of my Seecamp .32 because it was finicky about ammo. It was difficult to clean and care for. The manual of arms is unique.

I like small pistols and have had a few:
Beretta 950 .25 is good
Colt vest pocket .25 is good
Colt Lt Wt Mustang .380 is good
S&W 317 .22LR Great little revolver for up close and personal, 8 rounds?

Beretta 21A .22LR. NG, I got rid of it. Very big for a small gun. Not reliable
Walter (S&W) PPK/s. .380. troublesome, sent it out to Cylinder and Slide to see if they can work some magic. Haven't had a chance to put it through its paces.
I recommend the .32 NAA Guardian.
Best of luck.

No Guardian experience but I do have a Seecamp LWS32 that I recently obtained from a seller here on the forum. Seems similar in size and weight to the Guardian. I find the Seecamp a bit snappy.

I had a Keltec P32 that I foolishly sold, it shot much better than the Seecamp, wasn't ammo sensitive, and was much lighter. Downsides - flimsy appearance, lousy sights (Seecamp has none), iffy trigger. The guy I sold it to just laughs and says thank you when I ask about it.

I bought one from my doctor friend some years back. Well made, solid piece of hardware. I only shot ball ammo through it and unfortunately, since my middle finger had most of the "purchase," almost every round fired released the mag. I think a "heel" release would have improved it, Seecamp realized this. Joe

Had the same mag release problem with My Guardian, stopped using the finger extension mags. Seemed to solve the problem. Awesome little mouse gun, I like the heavy DA trigger for safety. It's always in my pocket.

And Patton carried one as a BUG.;)
