Beretta 87BB
I am looking at and placed a bid on a very nice Beretta 87BB. .22lr. Not new in box but is 99% finish, 3 magazines with original box and papers. Made in Italy with a 1987 date code. Does anyone have one and if so what are your thoughts about them and how much would one like described be worth.
Thanks!

Beautiful guns with great ergonomics. Bought mine used at an LGS a few years ago with one mag for 450, I think. Very good condition. I’d think these days one like you describe could go for 700 and up around here.

I have one and it is a wonderful gun. Accurate, reliable, and easy to rack. If I’m still carrying a gun in my late geezerhood this will be the one I’ll be carrying.

The one that I had was nice but not as reliable as I'd hoped so it went on down the road. This was many years ago, so I can't comment on today's pricing. (They were all made in Italy - don't let them sell you more sizzle than is actually there.)

Thanks for responses. Apparently the Beretta 87BB (22lr) is fairly rare and desirable as not that many were imported. Every site I looked at the posters said if you find one buy it! The auction is still active and I have already been outbid more than I wanted to spend.

I bought a new one many years ago. Very nice and reliable little .22. Still regret no longer having that one.
I would agree, $700 up, probably way up, on a nice or LNIB one now days.
What was the last bid you saw?

$350 but auction doesn’t end until Monday night. 18% buyers fee. Usually the prices rise sharply during the last several minutes before closing.

^^^^Yes - Auction just closed. With tax and buyers premium it went for $695. I didn’t get it.
