Looking to id what model Colt these are for. If for several models frame size would be helpful. Also time period. Thanks

They look like they are for a Colt Police Positive .38 S&W and I think also the later Police Positive Special (.38 Special) which has a wider grip frame in profile than the earlier Police Positive. My gun is in front of me and the measurements look dead on. My gun is 1928 P.P. and came with those type grips. Don’t know when they were introduced. Are they for sale? I have fake stags on mine now.

I have a 1920 Police Positive and the grips are a little too big mostly at the bottom. I will be selling. Can you give me a fair price to ask? Would it be best to list in the For Sale forum or can you make me an offer?

Default Colt Grips

Those grips fit my Detective Special from 1935 and some Police Positive Specials. Yes, they are wider at the bottom than the early Police Positive grips.
