Little Sig Sauer love this afternoon
Like I do occasionally do, I went bat**** crazy and got a couple Sigs out for a ride this afternoon. My two favorites are this P226 Legion and the P938.
Both are shot often with confidence. The 226 is the smoothest shooting firearm I own and is heavy enough that there's basically no felt recoil with shot after shot going center mass without even a bounce. The 938 took a thousand or so rounds to fully break in but since has become a breeze to shoot for a lightweight semi.
Anyway, here's the cleaned up pic of a couple favorites (either of which I'd highly recommend to anyone) .....

Smiths and Sigs are my thing. Picked these 2 up with the last month, got a German P226 with a nickel slide coming next week.

I had my .380 ACP Sig P238 with the Crimson Trace out a little while ago. I was really impressed at how it shot.

I bought my first SIG pistol back in 1978
It was a P220 and even though I thought it was ugly it was an amazing firearm. It is in the lower right corner of this group photo . I had it finished in industrial hard chrome by APW that same year
That started a lifelong love affair with the SIG P series pistols both the 220 and the 226 and later down the road the 229 and the 239
Eventually I learned about the sport pistols from the Master Shop in Germany which morphed into the X family of firearms

I have two P239s,(9mm and .357 sig) a P232 and a P210 Target.
I carried a P226 as a duty sidearm for 13 years. I was an Sig Armorer. Nothing but good things to say.

I am also a Sig fan. Carried an early 40 cal 229 or 220 for most of my career and a 232 as my BUG. I Remember when Sigs were the Cadillac of guns in the LE world.

Love my 226, my 365, and my M17. Also have a Sauer38H. Guess that doesn't count, but it looks and feels like it should.

Just picked up a P365XL Spectre Comp yesterday to carry when I'm riding. The shop had Canick, FN, Smith M&P's, Taurus, and Springfields besides the Sigs and it was no contest. Although I already have a P365 X-Macro and a P322 so there may have been a little bias involved. I would have used the X-Macro for a bike gun but I have a dot on it and I want something fairly small and thin for riding.

I carried my Sig P220 .45 for 25 years. We retired together and I gave it to my son.
Now I carry a variety of guns, but the Sig itch is scratched by a P210 Carry.

I added an XL slide to a standard P365 and love the result.
I also added the safety, but first cut off the right-side lever so it is not ambidextrous.
Great EDC!

SIG P220. What a great gun.
I had my P220 since the early ‘90s. I was a UPS delivery driver back then. I delivered all the new SIG P220s to the Pike County Indiana Sheriffs Dept. I sort of knew the Sheriff back then, from delivering to him. The Sheriff went on about how good they were. Their’s had the Tririum sights (holsters, mags, mag pouches).
I had sent something to Wilson Combat to be worked on, and I put a note in the box, asking Bill what he thought of the SIG P220. In Bill’s chicken scratch handwriting, he gave it a very positive endorsement. I always thought that was so cool of Mr Bill Wilson to write back. And it was cool that he endorsed a gun that I don’t think he was working on.
My P220 is the plain Jane black with a dot painted on the front sight and the bar on the back sight . It came with one spare mag. The sights printed dead on at 25 yards. The trigger is 5 pounds, crisp. 5 shot, 2 inch groups at 25 yards happen when I do my part. All I’ve ever done to that gun was shoot it and clean it. It resides in my nightstand in a Kramer holster.

I'm a big fan of metal Sig DA/SA pistols with external hammers. What's not to like? The P220 is my hands down favorite.

The Sig 239 is a nice accurate 9mm machine.
This one came with three mags, night sights
and was bought new over a decade ago.
Just a minty range gun along with the S&Walther 380.
Have a couple of P238s and the stainless HD is my favorite.

A 220 is one of the firearms I wished I had picked up in the past, but something more pressing needed the money. If I got one now The Better Half would thank for me getting her a SIG and add that if I behave I can try it out at times.

My wife has a Sig P229 Legion and a P938-BRG. I prefer my CZ-75 PCR to the Legion, but I truly enjoy shooting that little 938. Great little hand gun!
In the end, I most enjoy shooting my S&W wheel guns: 28-2, 627-5, 642-2

I have a gang of SIGs, but the only gun that is as accurate as my Tactical 356TSW (using a Perf.Ctr. 9mm barrel) is my Sig P210 Target....
Both shoot sub 1" groups at 25 yards from a rest.....

OK, I'll play too. Here are a few of my all time favorite pistols, and they're all SIG Sauer. The P226 SAO Legion is an outstanding fighting pistol. It fits me prefectly, and is dependable and extremely accurate. The P320X5 Legion is the same, and out of the box I competed with it in Action Steel and USPSA Limited. And what can I say about the MPX? Besides the cool factor, it's an incredibly fast and accurate shooter. Last year I got caught up in all the Pistol Arm Brace hoopla and decided to get it ATF registered so now it's an SBR with a SIG folding/retractable stock. All of SIG's products are outstanding...not cheap, but you get what you pay for!

My only Sig but it's a winner. One of those deals you can't refuse. My 1911 doesn't get near the love it used to.

Another Sig Lover
You got my attention with P938. Carried mine for years before I switched to the P365.
Have both the P938 and the P238 as well as the P365 and a couple others. Love them!
The third one in the picture is the .45 Ultra Compact.
