Default Glock safety device

Anyone use a Langdon Tactical striker control device? It replaces the back plate and if you put pressure on it with your thumb, it disconnects the trigger. So, as you're holstering your leg shooter, you can press on the back of the slide and holster your gun without worry that the trigger will be snagged and put a hole in one of your gams.

I’ve had the original version by Tau Development (“The Gadget”) on a Glock 26 for years. I love it, and I wouldn’t carry a Glock in the appendix position without it.

For clarification, it doesn’t “disconnect” anything. Thumb pressure just prevents the striker from moving backward, so the gun can’t fire. It’s dead-simple and absolutely foolproof.

I haven't used Ernie's new version, but I have several of the old Striker Control Devices ("The Gadget") from when they were made in Albuquerque. Frailer is correct. You should be able to find articles about them by Mas Ayoob and Tam Keel.
