A Gaggle of Switchblades
A Gaggle of Switchblades
Source of the photo: unknown.
The 5 top/left knives seem to be Italian. The rest seem to be French, except the final one, which seems Mexican.

Switchblades... Gotta love 'em!
I know the source of these.
Only the bottom four are autos.

Some of the lever locks are probably Hubertus (Germany).
The main blade on this is auto while the saw blade/bottle opener is not.
There is quite a price spread between the older and newer models.
When it comes to benchmade, I prefer the early large button/no safety versions.

Flattop5 got me on one of my favorite subjects, switchblades.
I picked this one up at a shop in Portland, OR. An early collaboration with Al Mar when Benchmade moved from California to Oregon. The shop owner did not plan on selling it but I talked him into it. Portland is knife central.
