My FFL enabler got in an estate and when I was over selling off some revolvers to a friend noticed this blues PPK/S on his photo table. Looked a little marked up but didn’t really get a chance to look at the whole package. I forgot to snap a picture but will
update the post soon.

Starting thinking about it - I don’t have a .380 any more, it is an iconic gun, might be a fun range toy and my FFL was having a sale on Federal FMJ .380 for $20 a box. So he sells on the broker site and it was to be marked for $550 sell now price for $600. After some haggling got it for $525 out the door.

Will pick it up next week. Early serial number in the small plastic box. FFL said it cleaned up super nice and looks barely used. What I thought was wear marks were just oil smudges. Came with paperwork and test target too. Bluing is prefect and no marks on take down lever. FFL gave it a thorough cleaning and oiling and said it was like new. The hammer drop safety has a nice plum color to it but the rest is a beautiful blue.

First surprise was it came with 5 magazines all Walther marked, three with the finger extension and two flush fit. One magazine had some scratch marks but the rest look new.

Best surprise was that it came with a Lou Alessi IWB leather holster! Score! I grew up right around the corner from his shop and I have a beautiful shoulder holster for a 6” 686 that my wife got me for our anniversary many many years ago. She brought me to the shop to have the holster fitted to me by Lou who trimmed some leather.

Can hardly wait to get to the range. I might have to wear a tuxedo for that one! :-)

Beware, if you have never owned or fired a Walther PP/PPK/PPKs they tend to slice and dice the web of your hand.

I have an Interarms PPK in .380 acp. Pretty much runs everything I've put in her. Only thing I can think of negative is it racks hard with my old hands. Other than that I love it. I think you'll enjoy your new pistol.

You did very well on that deal with all the extra magazines and holster. I saw one in a local pawn shop not long ago that had a lot of wear and the gun and only one magazine was $599.00. I agree with the prior post about slicing the web of your hand. If you have large hands and hold a high grip, you will get bit. Good luck.

Excellent score! Have an Interarms stainless PPK and it is very accurate. A little judicious stoning on the bottoms of rear end of the slide rails can greatly reduce the possible slide bite.

Carried a stainless .380 Interarms PPK for many years as my "Suit gun" in a Sparks Summer Special. About a decade ago I came across a Blue PPK as new in the box, and a Stainless .32 PPK/s w/ 5 mags.

Are they a "perfect" gun, no but my .380 and .32 have given good service w/out biting their owner!

With the 3 extra mags and Alessi you're into the "gun" for about $300!

Nice score...The current owner of Interarms, who bought the company from its founder Samuel Cummings, is an old friend currently headquartered in Houston...I see him frequently and get to pick his brain on various subjects...He is a cornucopia of firearms trivia and history......Ben

That and they have a surprising amount of felt recoil for a .380 ACP pistol due to the straight blowback action.

My PPK/S honestly kicks harder than my M&P40 Shield. After a few boxes of ammo my hand is sore from shooting the PPK/S, and not due to slide bite because mine is a S&W model with the extended beavertail.

Blowback guns do recoil more....... but for me the PPK isn't /wasn't a afternoon at the range gun. Two or three mags at 3-10 yds.... double action/Single action double taps.
