Those are nice looking grips.
Best of all they fit you.
I have a couple pair of Heretts.
Shooting Star sound right?

Looks like they'd be great for concealed carry.

Very nice! This put me in the mood to pull up these pix of my K38 Target Masterpiece with the aftermarket target stocks they came with. I believe they are Herretts, but I'm not 100% sure. Any opinions?

Correct. These are Target style , thumbrest Herrett's grips. The shape, the checkering and proportions are typical

Thought I would show them off.....enjoy!

These grips are not Herretts, but thumbrest SILE .
They were produced here in Italy for this distributor located in New York city in late Sixties / Seventies.
The pattern of the checkering , the thinner palm rest and the edges sharper than Herretts easily make them recognizable.
I love thumbrest grips, and I bought several pairs for my collection....

Did not know this....I purchased these from a fellow on another forum who advertised them as Herrett's....regardless, I am pleased!
I own a very nice set of Sandersen stocks that are also very comfortable. They are on my pre-war Outdoorsman.

I really like those. I remember a pic of Jeff Cooper with a M29 8 3/8 barrel wearing those. Very, very nice.

I picked up a High Standard .22 from a gunshop in Reading, PA that had a set of target Herrett grips on in. You pick up that gun and it does not want to let go.

I put a set of Herritt's "Shooting Stars" on my Colt Trooper over 40 years ago - they still look good and start conversations at the range whenever that Colt is out for some exercise.
