Default GREAT WARS MATCH

The improvement in my eyesight after my cataract surgeries is giving me an incentive to get back out and try some other matches again that I used to do. Tomorrow at my club in Maryland we're having the Great Wars Match for military handguns of any country from World War I through World War II. It's 30 rounds standing, 25 yards and two hands. I'm taking out my Finnish Lahti 9mm pistol. I hope I can make our Finnish friend proud of me.

Good luck golddollar. Let us know how it goes.
Maybe cataract surgery will be better than a red-dot sight!

It will have to be the cataract surgery at work. The Finnish Lahti is stock military but has very big iron sights.

This time around I didn't get a whole lot of points but I was able to get a pretty consistent group, so the next time I'll just have to remember how to hold off since the gun had fixed sights.

"Windage and elevation, Mrs. Langdon. Windage and elevation."

Glad to hear you're shooting, my friend. Have a ball!
