Coincedentally, I just shot mine today. Wife got a new Girsan in .380, and I perfer my Beretta to that one. Just as accurate and smaller grip which actually fits her better, but the pop up barrel on the Girsan makes it easier for her to load. I think the price is good for what you are talking about.

Just ordered one.
Thanks for the heads up.
I recently picked up a Tisas Fatih 380, it's a licensed copy of the Beretta 84, very well made.totally impressed.
Haven't yet got thru 2nd mag but I am certain it will not disappoint.

I saw a nice, shiny one of those for sale for twice that. Yours sounds like a good deal. I love the larger 380's.

I have the Girsan-made Chiappa MC14, which was the Zenith MC14 before that. I guess it didn't work out for them though it's a copy of the Beretta 84. It can use Beretta 84 magazines. It's cosmetically different though, it has an enclosed slide and a somewhat different appearance. It's a nicely made gun. I too like big .380's.

I bought 3 surplus Berettas but that was from DK in VA. All 3 perform flawless whenever I have them out. A 92S, an 81, and a 1951. Nice guns.

My dealer had three Israeli police surplus 1st model surplus guns a while back. I had a Smith 442 that I picked up used and didn’t like and swapped it for a nice shape surplus 84. It’s a little on the chunky side but fits my hands perfectly and balances well. I love the high capacity and it has functioned 100% with factory ball, various hollow points and home loads. I have absolutely no complaints and would buy one again.

Yes, I had one for a while.
The one thing that you need to be aware of is that it doesn't have a decocker.....I can show you the bullet hole where I killed my workbench.

I picked up one of those that Classic had a few years ago. It was in pristine condition. Love it !
I, too, wish it had a decocker.

I snagged one of the Beretta 81s that were around a couple of years back. I think I bought it to wind up those who can't get their head around a hicap .32 ACP.
If I could find one, I'd get a Taurus PT132 to add locked breech to the baffling mix.

Picked up one a couple of years ago. These seem to show up in batches. Guardia di Finanza guns. The 32s were from the Italian prison system.
Nice pistols, accurate, reliable, pleasant to shoot, especially the 32.

I have an 84F from DWJ. I think it's former Israeli something or other. It has a decocker and the square trigger guard. Cool little gun.

.380 is such an impotent round I struggle to understand the appeal of such a large pistol chambered in that cartridge.
Unless for someone who is physically disabled or shy of recoil, then it makes decent sense.

The Beretta 84BB is an excellent pistol.
I occasionally carry the 84F.

I just got mine from PSA, just on appearance alone, I'm happy.
Have only had time to try on some Salvatore grips thus far, that allowed a brief peek at internals, they look almost new.
Checked trigger & safety for function, didn't even remove upper yet.
Prob a week or more before a cleaning then range time but for 4 bills I think it's a great deal

Interesting that the caliber is stamped as "9 mm Short", rather than "9 mm Corto", or "9 mm Kurz". Makes me wonder where these pistols were sold, originally.

These were ordered and issued to Guardia di Finanza, the tax and smuggling arm of the Italian Police.
