Bought one last summer for my kids to use on our backyard range. My 15 year old son was not much into shooting, but he loves the Charger. My 10 year old daughter took to it like a duck to water! I have a 100 yard range with a 15" steel plate set up, both kids can play a tune on that plate! For the money the Charger is hard to beat. Just put some decent optics on it and get a few hi-cap mags. We mostly shoot the Federal bulk packs from Wal-Mart, the kids will blow through 2-3 550 round boxes if I let them.

Hi
I have one haven't shot it much ( only 300 to 400 rds.) , but it is fun. I am in the process of cutting down a 10/22 stock to make mine look like a pirate pistol .
It might take a few tries to find a scope you like.

What's it good for?
I don’t mean to be a wet blanket, but I don’t get it. It’s too big for a handgun and won’t do what a rifle will. It’s not like 10/22’s are huge and in serious need of weight loss, and the Ruger pistols are Jim Dandy’s too!
Forgive me my brother, and I really do kinda like Mini 14's.

Exactly my point too. I wouldn't have one!

That's pretty much my thoughts. I can't think of a good use for one.

I'll pile on too with an "Amen". I don't get it either. It seems a step back from the Mark II pistol.

It's a niche gun. Not for everybody. I have one, I think it's great. Something cheap to plink with. Of course I'm a 10/22 fan so it's just another one to add to the pile.

That seems to be the answer right there. It looks like someone likes it.

I would not mind having one. For a range or bench gun they are fun.A reliable high cap and a charger inside a house would make for a ok gun for defense I think....
I am wantin a muzzle can and would like a charger for one of the guns to mount it on. Then again I never said I was not odd...

They are fun to shoot. There are many after market parts and accessories to customize them.
Go to www.rimfirecentral.com and check out the forum for the Charger. A lot of really neat
customs are there for viewing and user remarks.

I'd love to have one - but NY says they're an "assault weapon".
