New Taurus 905 9mm
For some reason I’ve wanted a 9mm pocket snub.
I bought a Charter but sold it off for a quick profit without shooting it.
A Smith would be nice but out of my range.
A SP101 is bull strong but hardly pocketable, with the weight.
I put a satin stainless Taurus 905 9mm on lay away this weekend.
It has a nice, albeit heavy trigger.
I can’t wait to get it.

You chose well.
The trigger on mine is also heavy but very smooth, and of the four 9mm revolvers I own it’s the most practical for concealed carry.
As a range gun it has some sharp edges that will start to eat your hand somewhere short of a full box of 50, but recoil is very manageable even with full power loads.
The SP101 is more comfortable to shoot, and the Speed Six is Cadillac like in terms of comfort. I had high hopes for the Alfa Proj AL 9.0 but it’s always suffered from sticky ejection.
It’s accurate at 10 yards with 115 gr HP or XTP in both SA and DA:
My only major issue with the 905 was the moon clips that came with it. They were very soft and not at all durable. They may have changed in the few years I have had mine, or not. I would go ahead and just order some moon clips from TK Customs. They are very well made and very durable.

I know Taurus doesn't get a lot of love here, but I've always liked them. I've never owned a 9mm version, but my EDC is a 3", 327 Federal Magnum. I don't even know if it's got a name or not. I just call it a Taurus 327. It is a very nice revolver. The flat black finish isn't much to look at, but it hasn't shown any wear yet after several months of EDC.
I'd say you chose well also.

I have the stainless version and like it very much. I bought it just to try a 9mm revolver, but it has really earned its keep.
