Survey - not a survey - opinions on the top five most beautiful handguns
I can't do a survey, too many opinions I'm sure. Fire away!
1. Remington 1875:
I don't have a picture of an 1875 but it is better looking than its predecessor and that one is pretty nice.
2. Mauser HSc:
3. SIG 232:
You'll have to look that one up but it's just about as racy as the HSc.
4. COLT SAA:
Okay, this is a Charles Daly replica but it's as close as I can get:
5. S&W HEs generally:
Way too many pretty S&Ws!
Honorable Mention:
Walther PPK/S:
Ruger Bearcat:

* Ruger Super Blackhawk
* S&W Hand Ejector (pick any one)
* P08 Luger
* S&W Model 41
* Colt SAA
Not in any particular order. I can think of a few more, but that would make the list longer than 5.

I’m down with Arjay’s list. He did the work for me. Suprised about the early Ruger 22s.

The most beautiful handgun in the world goes to the Rohm I traded 6 muskrat pelts for. As a kid it carried me through thick and thin on the trap line, serving as critter dispatcher and hammer. The plastic grips remaining intact is testament to the...well, enough already...its a piece of junk but the memories are priceless. Honorable mention goes to the T Series BHP and the Mauser 1910.

Too many guns, not enough time.
I am a sucker for S&W K-Frames, N-Frames, J-Frames, with long barrels, short barrels, and in between barrels. These are just a few that come to mind with a 1911 mixed in.
Couple of Combat Masterpiece’s in .38 and .22 caliber.
Couple of Masterpiece’s, a K38 and a K22.
A long barrel N-Frame Model 27-2 in .357 Magnum.
Oops, can’t get the Colt 1911 picture loaded, I’ve reached my limit. The 1911 would have been 6 anyway.

Recall thinking the first time I ever held a SIG 210.
This is the finest made, fitted, finished device I ever held in my hand.
By this time, I had handled a number of guns, cameras, optical, and scientific devices.

Since you didn’t specify that they had to be in my collection, I have a pretty simple answer even though it isn’t specific. My top five would be pretty much ANY five engraved guns from my buddy RKmesa!

Except for Glocks. Sorry. On functionality they're great but capital U unattractive.

1. Luger carbine (Mauser C-96 carbine is the ugliest)
2. Browning Medalist
3. Walther FP free pistol
4. MAC-10 (Ugly and a piece of garbage, but like a Hummer, it gets its message across)
5. Have to agree, anything RKmesa likes

1. Colt SAA (The older the better)
2. Any S&W revolver in the P&R 3T configuration (They are all beautiful!)
3. Colt 1911 (Original pre-A1 version, although I'll never part with my brt. Stainless GCNM)
4. 6" Colt Python from the 70s
5. C.O.P. 4 shot Derringer
I know it says handguns, but I believe these two rifles to be more beautiful than a couple of my picks above.
Winchester 1873
U.S. Rifle cal. .30 M1 Garand.
And I believe the Webley mentioned above should be on the "Most Ugly List" right behind the Nagant. My opinion, and yes, I have three of them.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Off the top of my head the most eye catching to me are:
1. S&W Model 19
2. S&W Registered Magnum and the Model 27
3. S&W Model 29
4. S&W Model 66
5. CZ 75 (or Browning Hi-Power)
