I've been shooting the Glock 19 recently with an Advantage Arms .22lr conversion kit purchased in 2017. It sure did come in handy during the shortage of 9x19 ammo during the first part of the COVID 19 pandemic. As you can see, it's not target accuracy at 25 yards, but the center of mass grouping is about as well as I can shoot the 9x19 upper at the same distance. About the only thing I don't like are the magazines which require a loader rather than just your thumb to charge the 10-round magazines. Luckily the kit came with a .22lr loader. Glock now makes a Glock 44 in .22lr, but I don't think it could be much better than this setup.

I have owned a few of those kits. The last kit I had for a Glock 26/27/33 did not work reliably on either of my Glock 26’s or my son’s Glock 33. It ran like a Singer sewing machine on a friend’s Glock 27. I sold that kit.

A few years later I bought a now discontinued kit for the Glock 29/30 series. That kit worked flawlessly on my Glock 29 so I bought a 29/30SF frame and put together a dedicated pistol.

I also have owned a couple of Ciener units. This one ran like a top.

I purchased one Years ago used on ebay for ~225. I sold my Glock 17 to purchase a M&P full size, so bought a Gen 3 frame. The front site has been replaced with an Ameriglow night sight and a laser sight added Most FUN pistol I own- the perfect
Zombie can Terminator !
I sure don't shoot mine like BubbaBlades though.

I had the AA Unit on my Glock 17 Gen 3. It runs great as long as it is feed copper plated bullets. Lead is a no go in mine.

My instruction documentation on the AA conversion kit for the Gen4 Glock 19 recommends CCI 40-grain solid nose Mini-Mags. I have been shooting the CCI as well as Aguila Super Extra copper-plated high speed 40 grain solids. Either ammo provides flawless function and good accuracy.

I had bought an AA kit for my Glock 30 some 15 years ago and the .22 l.r. conversion was substantially less accurate then the pistol in .45 ACP.

Needless to say that I sold it.

We have an AA kit for my wife's Glock 19... bought it probably around 20 years ago, long before the G44 came out. It's always run well for us. Great alternative for cheap trigger time.
