page set up
Is there any way to get rid of the advertisements on the left side of this forum? I feel it is very distracting.

I moved your thread to the office.
The forum is expensive to maintain and wouldn't be here without the ad revenue. it's always been offered free to the members, but contributors no longer see the ad column on the left. Qualifying donation levels start at $30 per year (Bronze), which is less than 9 cents per day.

I've got no issues with the need for ads... I just wish I could choose for them to be on the right side, as every single page I load I have to shift to the right, as the actual posts run off the right side of the screen (with full screen browser window, even.)
