Editing Titles (edited)
I would like to edit the title of a post in the for sale section and haven't been able to figure out how. The "Edit" button will allow me to change the body of the post, can I edit the title as well? Thanks, Doug

Go to the initial post (#1), click "Edit", then click "Go Advanced".

If I can chime in, I've had that same problem myself...and when I go to the advanced edit, it does allow me to change the thread title. However, when I save it, the thread still shows the original title....BUT, when you open the thread, it now shows the edited title.

I don't know anything about that. I just added "(edited)" to the title of this thread and it shows up both at the top of this thread and in the Office listing.

I don't know if I've not done it correctly or what, but there have been times it worked, but more often times it didn't work. I dunno. Me and PC ain't a match made in Heaven.

After you edit a post and then look at it again be sure to reload the page or you may not see the changes. There is normally an arrow or the like in the address bar at the top of the screen that will make your browser load the latest copy of the page which should have the most recent changes.

I took the final step for granted, but after you edit the title, make sure you scroll down and click "Save Changes".
