Default Politics

I know the rules and have bent them a few times, my apologies. Some things these days concerning our present administration upsets me. So why are you letting these ads be posted on this site with these messages which serve has nothing more than unpleasant reminder, every day, every login?

The ads go off of what's in your cookies. You were looking at political sites recently. Last year I was looking to remodel my kitchen and guess what ads I got on this forum? Yep....kitchen cabinet ads

I've not looked at any political sites and I erase my browser metadata daily.

Something still remains. Here, I just Googled Toyota Prius.

And when I logged in I got this. Car advertising

Got nothing political.

3dots - this has been discussed in past. Question like yours was asked about female politician in specific area but answers your question all the same.

As we've said before, and before, and....

Google ads are random, and not chosen by us. I don't see that ad because Google is smart enough to show them to people in her area.

CONSOLE yourself with this- that ad was WASTED on you. Her advertising money was WASTED by showing that ad to YOU.
Don't you wish "we" were the only people who see "their" ads?

It's no wonder so many people in this country vote the way they do.

Just look at how many folks are totally clueless on this subject of ads and worse yet on "timed out" or "got logged off".

Very disappointing.

Can't imagine how maddening it must be for forum ownership, admins and mods. They've sure exercised the patience of a Saint.

Thanks Lee, I didn't know and didn't see that other post. Please close this when you get a chance.

Contribute and the ads -- save for the banner -- go bye-bye.
