I just saw on another forum that John Ross's publisher, Accurate Press, is set to release a paperback edition of Unintended Consequences soon. It's priced at $30 + shipping. There are no hardback copies left.

What I wasn't prepared for was the fact that USED copies of the hardback version now start at $140 on Amazon. New copies start at $175.

Sorry, my copies aren't for sale! :D

(You payin' attention, Lee? Retirement's getting closer!)

Could SCSW be next? And my copy of UC is not for sale, either. John Ross posts here on occasion. He's one of my heroes.

I love this book, Henry Bowman for the EPIC win!

Anyone with even a passing interest in guns must read this book. I've given away a dozen or so copies of it over the years, I '"karma'd" one away here a couple of years ago.

John Ross is very much Henry Bowman -- at least as far as the shooting goes. He's a fantastic marksman and loves the big stuff.

I just emailed him and gave a link to this thread. It'd be great if he chimed in.

He's one of us in spades.

I've been aware of the book but haven't ever seen a copy. I would buy it today if a Kindle version existed. Or some other ebook format that could be ported to a Kindle.

John Ross, if you are reading this please consider releasing an e-version of the book. There are print media guys and e-media guys. Offering an e-version won't cannibalize print sales; on the contrary, as time goes it should expand your audience.

Count me in as one of John Ross's admirers. I have an original hardcover edition of Unintended Consequences. I was amazed at his skill as a writer, having never published before. The book sure does make you think, and it should serve as an object lesson for those who would tear down our right to keep and bear arms and other American freedoms. Let's all hope that the Second American Revolution never has to come to pass - the elections of 2010 and 2012 may prevent that. I urge all of you to get involved and vote this year in all elections that will influence your freedoms. We are at a pivotal point in American history, and the choices could not be clearer.

John

Publisher is exploring that.
