Sheriff Joe Arpaio For President!

I love this guy! I just read that he's responsible for 25% of illegal alien deportations in the U.S. Not just Arizona, but the entire country! That shows how bad illegal immigration is in Arizona or it says no one else in the country deports illegal aliens. He's been busting illegal aliens like crazy and won't and doesn't have to stop now. Last night Anderson Cooper on CNN was trying get him to surrender to the new ruling yesturday but ended up a quivering bowl of jelly in front of the hard working, dedicated, patriotic sheriff of Maricopa County. You Arizonans are lucky to have him.

I agree. I wasn't serious about that. I didn't really consider him for president. The title of this thread was just my way of saying how much I like his attitude and way of doing things. Not to mention the contrast to that guy people refer to as president at the moment. Joe Apaio as DHS? Now yer' taikin'!But he wouldn't be approved because he has Americas interest at heart. And you know who runs the senate.

Sure he,d make a great president. As long as a man or woman is comeing from the right convictions, and makes no compromise,s for PCs sake, thats what I want. Joe is like that. I am sure there are many potential persons that "belive right", but few of them have the cojones to completely accept nothing but right. All are worried about staying in power and play the PC game.

I vote for the most conservative name on the ticket. Man, woman, black, white, green with orange polka dots - I don't care. If Joe is on the ticket and he's the most conservative choice, he will get me vote without hesitation.

Sheriff Joe was on Geraldo one night and Geraldo was trying bait him and make him look bad. Needless to say Geraldo ended up looking like the idiot! Joe didn't get at all flustered. I may live in Maine but I own land in Arizona about 10 miles from the border in Cochise county and am planning on moving there in a few years. I'm counting on Joe and others with the same mindset to get things under control.

Modern day Buford Pusser. Some like him, and others feel he is the criminal. Either way, like Pusser, he gets results, even if he doesn't make EVERYBODY happy all the time. The man does his job and does it extremely well in my opinion.

He is very popular around here. After Kartrina / Rita he sent an unbelievable amount of personnel and resources over here to help out with the recovery. They were top notch, very squared away people.

Like any politician Sheriff Joe enjoys the attention he gets, but, so what? I don't believe you do what he does strictly for the attention. He seems to get results. I don't think too many of his "guests" want a repeat performance living in tents in 100 degree temps, wearing pink jammies, and feasting on bologna sandwiches. It just seems to baffle some that he doesn't brook B.S. and enforces the law. Works for me.

You know, if this crap keeps up where the federal goverment over rides state and federal law, wont do their job and sue not to, God help us! I can see a real possibility of another civil war! To start with, I am not convinced O,bama was even born here. Why would he spend millions to have his brith certificate and college records sealed and hid? He even has a old aunt in solmalia that claimed he was born there! That alone should at least cause a investigation. Is everyone in this country nuts or sheep? I visualise or liken it to a devious kid steering everyone in this country on a ship off the side of the earth and all of us too PC or scared to stop him!

I don't think it's 'us' who are too scared to stop him so much as the people who are within arm's length as far as challenging his legitimacy that are utter failures at stopping him. It seems the 'opposition party' to the Chicago mob in the White House are loathe to even broach the topic of legitimacy let alone face up to the rampant misuse of power of this administration. I get tired of watching people like Gingrich pontificate with their 'higher intelligences' about what's wrong with the country while doing nothing to stop the demise of our way of life while it is happening in front of them.

It seems the Republicans are either satisfied to just sit back and wait for this administration to get voted out after the damage is done, or try to tune their rhetoric to the Tea Party people and ride that philosophy into office, both w/o making so much as a promise to restore what freedoms have already been eroded.

And I fear that even if such a change does occur, it will be too late to undo whatever havoc has been wreaked upon us.

I guess I'm scared.

The people who vote, bless them all, have made their choices, to quote the POTUS to John McCain; "John the election is over". Elections truly do have consequences.
The Democrats have a majority in the House and Senate and have had since 2007. The GOP has no way to do anything legislative, even talking does little good since the press does not cover them.

If anyone does not like what is happening I strongly suggest getting involved in making certain people that think like you do are nominated and elected.
Sheriff Joe has been selected and elected and his constituents are happy with his work. Lets all look for more like him.
